As part of the 24 hours of science for all, the Institut de recherche sur les exoplanetes (iREx) and the Center de recherche en astrophysique du Québec (CRAQ) invite you to discover extraterrestrial worlds with our astrophysicists!

This activity will consist of an online presentation on the iREx YouTube channel of approximately 30 minutes in which your students will learn more about the multitude of planets that exist in the Solar System and beyond. They will be able to visit these worlds virtually and discover the environment that is found and if life could develop. They will then be able to compare these worlds to notre propre planète Terre.

After the presentations, our astrophysicists will be happy to answer the questions of your students submitted by conversation on YouTube.

This activity of 45 minutes is aimed at students of the third cycle of primary school (5th and 6th year), but we will welcome students of all age groups. It will be online on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.
