FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – Oklahoma State outdoor track & field kicked off competition at the NCAA West Prelims on Wednesday with several Cowboys in action across four events.

The Cowboys opened action in the 1,500 Meter First Round with Fouad Messaoudi, Ryan Schoppe, Kian Davis and Isaiah Priddey each competing to reach the Quarterfinals.

Schoppe led his heat from wire-to-wire with the fastest time in any of the four heats with a time of 3: 40.27. 1,500 Meter Big 12 Champion Messaoudi and Davis each qualified through via the next four best times with times of 3: 43.85 and 3: 42.56, respectively.

Both Cowgirls finished with All-Big 12 honors earlier this month in the event at the Big 12 Championships.

Following the 1,500, Tamara Woodley and Christina Ollison compete in the 400 Meter Dash in the first and second heats, respectively, with the top three finishers in each heat plus the next six best times advancing to the Quarterfinals on Saturday.
