ALG Vacations has revealed its strategy for its passenger numbers to grow in 2023 to double digits with respect to 2022. For this, they are betting on the group segment with a new policy of low rates, resuming the programs with Southwest through Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations and Travel Impressions, as well as its entry into the TikTok platform.

The company has implemented the low deposit for massive air fares from Mexico and the Caribbean, with the reduction of volume fare deposits to only US$250 per person for reservations made more than 46 days in advance.

“De cara a los viajes de 2023, we are currently advancing in double digits in passengers compared to 2022 driven largely by groups, both Contracted Groups and GroupEase. We hope that the growth will continue while comparing with the challenges of the previous year with the variants Omicron and Delta”, said the executive vice president of ALG Vacations, Jacki Marks and his travel agents.

Likewise, ALG restored packages from Mexico with Southwest Airlines through Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations and Travel Impressions, for package sales. “With traditionally low fares, two checked bags for free, no cancellation fees on the air side and Rapid Rewards, the airline offers great value for customers with a destination in Mexico. “This value becomes even greater when combined with hotel stays and transfers from ALGV, the world’s leading tourist operator in Mexico,” said Marks.

On the other hand, ALG Vacations launched the TikTok channel @AskaTravelAdvisorALGV to give advice, travel tips and promote the benefits of using a travel advisor, as reported by Travel Pulse.

As he informed REPORTER.us, Apple Leisure Group Vacations in July implemented reservations for later payments, that is, travelers will be able to buy now and pay later, through Uplift, a flexible way to pay for vacations in installments, according to TravelPulse. (ALG Vacations innovates: allows you to pay in installments with an application).

The company guarantees that the interest rates of Uplift are lower than those of credit cards, which also makes these payment plans more affordable. In addition, it ensures that there are no late payment charges, no hidden charges and a simple process.
