Gunners Boss Mikel Arteta Rolls Back The Years With Training Skills

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has shown off his skills as Arsenal’s pre-season gets underway. Arsenal will play FC Nurnberg in a friendly tomorrow in Germany.

Arsenal have started their pre-season preparations for their first game of the season in just under a month.

The Gunners will take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on the 5th of August, so preparation is already underway.

Arsenal are in Germany at the Adidas headquarters for the first leg of their pre-season which will last for four days.

Adidas HQ is said to have state of the art facilities.

But these facilities were graced by a real artist today. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.

The former midfield maestro strutted his stuff with this delightful turn.

You can see the delight on Mikel Arteta’s face as he turns Matt Smith, who is just under half his age.

Arsenal have taken a strong squad to Germany which includes new signing Gabriel Jesus, who impressed with this lovely strike.

But the Gunners have also taken five younger players to mix with the experience.

Charlie Patino, Reull Waters, Salah Oulad M’hand and Lino Sousa are said to have traveled with the first-team.

Arsenal will hope players like Patino will pick up experience in this pre-season so he can play a role in the upcoming Europa League campaign.

Arsenal will play a friendly against FC Nurnberg at 4:30 on Friday 7th of July.

Nurnberg are a German second division side and will hopefully offer Arsenal more competition than Ipswich Town, who Arsenal dispatched 5-1 in their first preseason game.

Once Arsenal finish their time in Germany, they will move onto the United States for a series of friendlies against familiar opposition.

They will face Everton in Baltimore on July 16th at the M&T Bank stadium. Following this, the Gunners will take on MLS team Orlando Pirates FC on July 20th before taking on Chelsea three days later.

Back in London, Arsenal will look forward to the return of the Emirates Cup on July 30th which includes Spanish side Sevilla.
