Hanoi (VNA) – Hô Chi Minh-Ville has been chosen as the venue for the World Travel Awards ceremony for the Asia and Ocean region scheduled for September 7, according to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration (VNAT). .
This is the second time that Vietnam has had the honor of being selected to welcome them World Travel Awards after the first time in Phu Quoc, province of Kien Giang in 2019.
This year, Vietnam has received a series of nominations for different categories at the WTA 2022. More specifically, Vietnam has been nominated for prizes in the Asian region for the Premier destination, the Durable Touristic Destination, the Premier Heritage Destination, the Premier cultural destination, the first nature destination, the first travel destination for young people and the first beach destination.
ANTV is listed in the “Asia’s Leading Sustainable Tourism Destination” category (La Première destination touristique durable de l’Asie).
The capital, Hanoi, has been pre-selected as the principal holiday destination in Asian cities and the premier cultural Asian city destination.
