How soon will the initial payments be made?
The first tax refund recipients will be citizens who got a Golden State Stimulus to check through direct deposit in 2021.
The first payment round is expected to occur from October 7 to 25. And the second round may take place from October 28 to November 14.
Whoever filled out their taxes online will get the refund online; on the other hand, the citizens who filed taxes on paper will get a debit card through their mail.
