l’Université du Delta pour la science et la technologie integrates Coursera courses in its program

The Delta University for Science and Technology in Egypt and the global online learning platform Coursera have announced a partnership aimed at improving the employability of students. In this framework, the private university will integrate the courses of the platform in its educational programs.

“We are delighted to partner with Coursera to create new opportunities for our students to acquire state-of-the-art skills and develop new capabilities”declared the President of the University, Yehia Abdel Azim Al-Mashad.

The partnership responds to the ambition of the university to become one of the main providers of quality human resources on the Egyptian labor market and the Africa and Middle East (MENA) zone. Pour cela, l’établissement veut adapt ses programs aux nouvelles tendances de ce marché.

Via this partnership, Coursera engages in putting its catalog of courses at the disposal of students and including those of its university and industrial partners, such as: l’Imperial College de London, l’Ecole polytechnique, IBM et Microsoft. In addition, students will benefit from an online, mobile and practical learning experience.

By the way, the Coursera for campus offer will allow professors to use analysis tools to track students and collect data directly on the acquisition of skills and ensure that students are initiated according to leurs besoins professionnels

Coursera offers a catalog of more than 5200 courses, more than 3300 guided projects, more than 650 specializations and more than 115 certificates.
