Un vernissage successful pour la Galerie mp tresart à Durham-Sud

CULTURE. La bonne humeur et l’émerveillement were at the rendezvous, Saturday afternoon, during the opening of the collective exhibition Life is beautiful à la Galerie mp tresart à Durham-Sud.

“Cela fait already two years that nous n’avons pas eu d’événement à la Galerie mp tresart dû aux conséquences of the pandemic. It is therefore with une très grande joie that we welcome you today”, exclaims owner Mélanie Poirier.

Several artists were displaced for the occasion, including Annie-Joële Boulanger, resident of Wotton. Cette dernière produced two canvases in the framework of the collective exhibition Life is beautiful. The first represents a lion and the second illustrates a lynx. “Ça fait environ un an an que j’expose ici. I participated in collective exhibitions and I did a solo project. This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to attend a vernissage. Je me sens émue et excitede. It’s really magical. C’est un rêve qui se réalise en quelque sorte”, he mentioned, displaying a large smile.

Dans la vie, on traverse des épreuves, mais on s’en sort toujours gagnant, because on tire des apprentissages de ces difficulties. I want to launch a positive message with my works. They are colorful and luminous,” she explained.

She made a dozen acrylic paintings, featuring wildlife. “I started production at the end of the month of May. It was a challenge for me to realize so many works in such a short time. Aujourd’hui, I feel beaucoup de fierté. Je me suis surpassée”, she emphasized.
